Galatians6:9

Verſe. 9. And let vs not be vveery of doing good, for in due time vve shall reape vvithout vveerines. The apoſtle intēding to cloſe vp his Epiſtle, paſſeth from ye particular to the generall, and exhorteth generally to all good workes. As if he ſhould ſay: let vs be liberall and bountefull, not onely towardes the Miniſters of the word, but alſo towardes all other men, and that without weerines. For it is an eaſie matter for a man to doe good once or twice:VVe muſt doe good vvithout vveerines. but to continue and not to be diſeouraged through the ingratitude and peruerſenes of thoſe to whom he hath done good, that is very hard. Therfore he doth not onely exhort vs to doe good, but alſo not to be weery in doing good. And to perſwade vs the more eaſily thervnto, he addeth: For in due time vve shall reape vvithout vveerines. As if he ſayd: wait and looke for the perpetuall harueſt that is to come, and then ſhall no ingratitude or peruerſe dealing of men be able to plucke you away from well doing: For in the harueſt time ye ſhall receaue moſt plentifull encreaſe and frute of your ſeede. Thus with moſt ſwete words he exhorteth the faithfull to the doing of good workes.
