54 The sons of Salma ; Bethlehem , and the Netophathite, Ataroth , the house of Joab , and half of the Manahethites , the Zorites .

i. e. The Inhabitants of Bethlehem.
The Name of a Person, or People.
The Progenitors of Ioab's Family.
The other half being mentioned v. 52
For, to wit, the Zorite.
