NOw these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron: the first-born Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess : the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess :

Of that Iezreel in Iudah, Ios. 15. 56. not of that in Manasseh, Ios. 17. 16.

So called because she was the Wife of Nab[illegible: 1+ letters]l who dwelt in Carmel, 1 Sam. 25. 2. which was in Iudah, Ios. 15. 55.
