1 Chronicles5:23
23 And the children of the half-tribe of Manasseh , dwelt in the land : they increased from Bashan, unto Baal-hermon, and Senir, and unto mount Hermon.
Having discoursed of the Reubenites, v. 3, &c. and next of the Gadites, v. 11, &c. he now comes to the Manassites.
i. e. In their Land, to wit, in the Northern part of the land beyond Iordan.
