1 Samuel2:13
13 And the priests custome with the people, was, that when any man offered sacrifice, the priests servant came, while the flesh was in seething , with a flesh-hook of three teeth in his hand,
i. e. Presented it to the Lord, to be offered by the Priest.
For as the Lords part of the Peace-offerings was burnt upon the Altar, so the Priests and offerers parts were to be sodden.
