1 Samuel28:1
AND it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies together, for warfare to fight with Israel : And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly that thou shalt go out with me to battel , thou and thy men.
Encouraged thereunto by Samuel's death, and Saul's degeneration, and David's presence with him.
This he [illegible: 1+ letters]aith, partly, to try his Sincerity; and partly, in confidence of David's Fidelity.
