2 Samuel19:35
35 I am this day fourscore years old: and can I discern between good and evil? can thy servant tast what I eat or what I drink? can I hear any more the voice of singing-men, and singing women ? wherefore then should thy servant be yet a burden unto my lord the king ?
My Sences are grown dull, and uncapable of relishing the Delights of the Court. I am past taking Pleasure in delicious Tasts, or sweet Musick, and other such Delights of the Court.
I am through Age both [illegible: 1 word] and [illegible: 1+ letters]urdensome to others, and therefore most improper [illegible: 1 word] Courtlife.
