2 Timothy2:3
3 Thou therefore indure hardness , as a good souldier of Jesus Christ .
In the Greek it is suffer evils, sc. evils of affliction expect them, and encountre and patiently indure them.
Remembring that the Life of a Minister is not a life of ease and pleasure, but the life of a Souldier, whose Life is a Life of hardship, exposed to numberless hazards and dangers.
