Acts13:11
11 And now behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about, seeking some to lead him by the hand.
The hand of the Lord is put for any powerful action of God, whether in Mercy or Judgment: here it is put for the Divine Power wherewith God strikes his Enemies.
God did in Judgment remember Mercy, inflicting this blindness only for a season, that it might be rather a Medicine than a punishment.
