26 And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God, for the work which they fulfilled.

That Antioch which was in Syria, as appears Chap. 13.1, 2, 3. to what this relates, and is a sufficient proof that they had not sought God in vain, and that there is no better preparation or provision towards any business, than faithful prayer unto God concerning it; doing our duty, and leaving the event unto his dispos[illegible: 1 letter]ng.
