Acts15:22

22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch, with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas , chief men among the brethren.

A happy concord, all agreeing as one Man, by one Spirit.

That Paul and Barnabas might be the better credited, and that by such as had been of a contrary Judgment: so hard it is to remove suspitions, and to root out pre-conceived opinions.

The Brother of that Ioseph mentioned Chap. 1.23.

Called Silvanus also.

Noted for their Holy living, or great Knowledg, or Office in the Church.
