Acts9:10

10 ¶ And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias, and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said , Behold, I am here, Lord.

He was of good repute for zeal and holiness, as appears, Chap 22.12. but whether he was one of the seventy Disciples which our Saviour sent out; Luke 10.1. as some will have, is not certain.

Thereby shewing his willingness to be sent in Gods message, and to do as God should bid him, as Samuel to Eli, 1 Sam. 3.4.
