Daniel11:40
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him , and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships, and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over .
In the last times towards the end of the World, for it cannot be true of Antiochus who dyed the 11th. year of his Reign, and these things are joined to the last resurrection, chap. 12.2. Therefore some understand the Turk ▪ and Saracen ▪ who is without the Church, as Antichrist beforementioned sate in the Temple, he extending his Dominions into Asia and Africa will be a great stop to Antichrists proceedings and incroachments.
i. e. The Turk from the North shall invade, and run down the Saracen, Mede.
