Esther5:4
4 And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
Whom she invited, partly that by shewing such respect to the Kings great favourite, she might insinuate her self into the Kings good opinion and affection; and partly, that if she saw fit, she might then present her request to the King.
