Matthew Poole and continuators on Exodus 18:18

18 Thou wilt surely wear away , both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee: thou art not able to perform it thy self alone.

Waste and destroy thy health and strength by excessive labour of mind and body.

By tedious attendance and expectation ere their turn comes for the decision of their matters.
