23 And I will put a division between my people, and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be .
Heb. a redemption or deliverance, i. e. a token or mean of deliverance, by a Metonymy; a wall of partition, by which I will preserve the Israelites whilest I destroy the Egyptians.
