Ezekiel24:3
3 And utter a parable to the rebellious house, and say unto them, thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it.
In somewhat a dark yet apt similitude, or in an Allegory declare what they should know, and consider.
Chap. 2. verse 3.6.
Set upon the fire a Pot, or Cauldron.
Do it quickly, be sure to do it; this Pot▪ is Ierusalem.
Fill it with water; for as the Pot full of Water, on the fire till the water be throughly heated, so shall Ierusalem be filled with the Judgments of God.
