For the old quarrel, because Iacob got the blessing from Esau, or rather in revenging a later quarrel, which they had against Iudah for the Slaughter, spoil, and captivity they suffered by David's conquering Sword.

Both in the thing it self; for vengeance belongs to God, and in the manner and measures of executing it, as appears, both from Psal. 137.7. and the prophesie of Obadia[illegible: 1 letter] 10. to 15. we see, and consider.
