And Heb.
Declare from me, and in my word.
The Inhabitants wasted, or in captivity speak concerning the Mountains, that is the land of Iudah, and Israel, which was a countrey full of mountains, which were now horrid, unplanted.
What farther revenge I will take on Edom, and on other Nations, that wasted you, this continued to the end of the 6th. verse. And hear what good I will do to you; this from the 7th. to the end of the chapter.
The severe judgments against your Enemies, his gracious promises to you.
