Ezekiel37:1
1 THE hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the valley which was full of bones .
Either the prophetick Spirit, as chap. 1.3. and chap. 8.1. let. g. moving him to prophesie by this Emblem, or else the Spirit of God carrying him visionally, not corporally as in chap. 8. into such a prospect or landskip.
Either in the Power of the Spirit of God, or it may refer to the Prophets own Spirit, he was in his Spirit, or Mind and Apprehension.
So it seemed to me in the vision, that I was set gently down.
'Tis vain to enquire what vally this should be, which was visional, not corporeal or real.
'Tis as vain to enquire, whose bones these were, they are visional and Hieroglyphicks of Israel's present Condition.
