23 And Abraham drew near , and said, wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
(i. e.) Approached unto God to enquire of him, and to pray unto him: For so the phrase of drawing near to God is used, 1 Sam. 14. 36. Psal. 73. 28. Isa. 29. 13. Heb. 10. 22.
