Genesis27:34

34 And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry , and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my Father .

Not for any sence of his former sin in despising his Birthright, but for grief at his great loss therein, because God would not suffer him to be perjur'd in keeping that Birthright-blessing which he had sold and sworn away.

(i. e.) Thou art my Father no less than his, and therefore as a child, I claim a share in thy blessing.
