Matthew Poole and continuators on Genesis 29:25

25 And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold it was Leah: and he said unto Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me ?

Though Laban could not solidly answer the question, yet Iacob could do it, and had just cause to reflect upon his own former action of beguiling his Father, for which God had now punished him in the same kind.
