13 I am the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me ▪ now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.

Of which see Gen. 28. 19, 20. And this God here mentions to shew his acceptance of that action of Iacobs, his mindfulness even of the past and forgotten services of his people, and his purpose now to fulfil the promise there made to him.
