Isaiah27:13
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria , and the out-casts in the land of Egypt , and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
Which may be heard even to the remotest Parts of the Earth. God shall summon them all together as it were by Sound of Trumpet, to wit, by an eminent Call or Act of his Providence on their behalf. He alludes to the Custom of calling the Israelties together with Trumpets; of which see Numb. 10. 2, 3.
