Isaiah47:10

10. For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness : thou hast said, None seeth me , Thy wisedom and thy knowledge , it hath perverted thee , and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else besides me .

Confidently expecting to preserve thy self by these and other wicked Arts and Policies.

My Counsels are so deeply and cunningly laid, that God himself can neither discover nor prevent the Execution of them.

In State-Policy, and the Arts mentioned above and below.

Hath misled thee into the way of Transgression and Perdition.

Which was said, ver. 8. and is here repeated, to note their intolerable Arrogancy and Self-confidence.

Marginal references: Or, caused thee to turn away.
