Jeremiah26:8
8 ¶ Now it came to pass, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests, and the prophets, and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die .
Either they had a reverence for the Prophet, or the terror of God fell upon them, so as they did not interrupt him till he had fully dispatched his [illegible: 1 letter]rrand.
Then the chief of the Priests with the assistance of the People apprehend him, and tell him he should be put to death.
