44 Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south, for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the LORD .

Now, Ieremiah, thou understandest wherefore I commanded thee to buy the Field offered thee by Hanameel in Anathot ▪ in the lot of Benjamin, it was to assure thee, that though at present the Chaldeans shall prevail against Ierusalem, and the Jews shall be carried into captivity, and the Jews shall neither buy nor sell here at present, yet fields shall here be bought again; men shall buy and sell▪ and seal evidences in all parts of I[illegible: 1 letter]dae[illegible: 1 letter], as they were wont to do in former times, for they shall return again out of the captivity of Babylon into their own Land, and have commerce one with another as formerly.
