10 As for me, Behold I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chaldeans, which will come unto us : but ye, gather ye wine and summer-fruits, and oyl, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken .

That is I have made choice of Mizpah a City upon the Frontires, where I intend to make my residence, it being a Conve[illegible: 2 letters]e[illegible: 1 letter]t place for me to receive orders from the King of Babylon and to manage state matters.

But do ye live in the Country, and gather such fruits as the Country affordeth, do not fear being stript or spoiled of them, but do as you use to do in the times of greatest peace, and security.
