14. I have said to Corruption , thou art my Father : to the Worm, thou art my Mother, and my Sister .
Heb. To the pit of corruption, the Grave.
I am near a kin to thee, as being taken out of thee, and thou wiltst receive and embrace me, and keep me in thy house, as Parents do their Children.
Because of the same original, and the most strict and intimate Union and Conjunction between me and the Worms.
