23. God understandeth the way thereof ▪ and he knoweth the place thereof .

i. e. God alone; as appears by the denial of it to all other things.

Either the way how it is to be obtained: Or rather, the methods or courses which it takes in the management of all affairs in the World, together with its grounds and end▪ [illegible: 1 word] them.

Where it dwells, which is only in his own Breast and Mind, and in the best of men but in part, and only as far as it pleaseth him to afford it.
