John1:43
43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip , and saith unto him, Follow me .
All this while Christ seemeth to have been in Iudea, (which was the most famous Province); the day after Peter had thus been with him, he had a mind to go into Galilee; out of that he designed to choose his Disciples; and that being the Country where he had been Educated, he designed in a more special manner to honour it with the first Fruit of his publick Ministry; there he findeth Philip (the name signifieth a Lover of Horses.)
He calleth him to be his Disciple.
