John20:31
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God , and that believing ye might have life through his name.
But he had wrote these to introduce his Readers to believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God; a thing of so great concernment to them, that their Eternal life depended upon it; for through his Name alone, Eternal life is to be obtained, Acts 4.12.
