49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, Come down, ere my child dye .
The Courtier, tho probably of Spirit enough to have shewn some discontent at our Saviours no kinder Answer to him before, yet was so intent upon his Sons life, that he takes no notice of it, but reneweth his Request, still discovering the weakness of his Faith, as thinking that Christs Personal Presence was necessary to the life of his Son.
