John7:50
50 Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them)
Of Nicodemus we read, Chap. 3.2. and of his coming by Night to Jesus. He now being one of this great Court, stands up to speak for Christ, yet faintly, or at least wonderfully prudently, and warily. He saith no more for him than he ought to have spoken for the greatest Malefactor, viz.
