Leviticus23:13

13 And the meat-offering thereof shall be two tenth-deals of fine flour mingled with oyl, an offering made by fire unto the LORD, for a sweet savour: and the drink-offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin .

Or, parts, to wit, of an Ephah, i. e. two Omers, whereas in other sacrifices of Lambs there was but one tenth deal prescribed. Numb. 15. 4. The reason of which disproportion may be this, that one of the tenth deals was a necessary attendant upon the Lamb, and the other was peculiar to this feast and occasion, and was an attendant upon that of the sheaf or Corn, and was offered with it in thanksgiving to God for the fruits of the Earth.

Drink-offerings▪ were added to all burnt-offerings, as we may see Numb. 15. 5.

The measure appointed for every Lamb, Numb. 15. 5. This also probably would have been doubled, for the reason now mentioned, had this been a thankoffering for the vintage as it was for the Harvest.
