35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
The 34. v. compared with, 1 Cor. 15.5. makes some great Authors think, that Simon was one of the two, and that Cleopas (who was the other) spake this. They make no stay at Emmaus, but come presently to Ierusalem and acquaint the Disciples, That for certain Christ was Risen, and that he had appeared to them in the way, and was known of them at their breaking of Bread.
