20 And straightway he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the Ship, with the hired servants, and went after him.

We heard of the call of these four Apostles, before in Mat. 4.18. in the Notes upon which, may be found whatsoever is necessary for the explication of these verses, (having nothing new in them) as also the reconciling of what Iohn saith Chap. 1.40. about the calling of Andrew and Simon, to what these two Evangelists say about it.
