24. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule : but the slothful shall be under tribute.
Shall procure Wealth and Power.
Heb. The deceitful. So he calls the slothful, because Deceit and [illegible: 1+ letters]dleness are commonly companions, and such men seek to gain by Fraud what they either cannot or will not get by honest Labour. Compare Prov. 10. 4.
