Psalms35:17
17. LORD, how long wilt thou look on ? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
Like an idle Spectator, without affording me any Pity, or Help?
To wit, my Soul, as it is in the former Clause. Heb. my onely One: which is now left alone and forsaken by my Friends, and hath none to trust to but God. See on Psal. 22. 21.
Marginal references: Heb. my onely One.; Psal. 57. 4.
