Psalms41:11
11. By this I know that thou favourest me : because mine enemy doth not triumph over me .
Bearest a good Will to me, and art resolved to make good thy Promises to me, and wilst plead m[illegible: 1+ letters] righteous Cause against them.
Because hitherto thou hast helped and supported me, and prolonged my days to the disappointment of their Hopes, and designed Triumphs. This Merey I thankfully receive as a Token of further Mercy. Compare, 1 Sam. 17. 37. 2 Cor. 1. 9, 10.
