3 Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
Either 1. To our former quiet and flourishing estate: Or, 2. To thy self; from whom Ephraim and Manasseh with the rest of the ten Tribes have apostatized. See the like prayer of Elijah for them, 1 Kings 18. 37.
