10 Which perished at En-dor: they became as dung for the earth .
Either 1. The Midianites. Or rather, 2. Iabin and S[illegible: 1+ letters]sera, who were overthrown near Taanach and Megiddo, Judg. 5. 19. nigh unto which places was this Endor, as appears from Ios. 17. 11.
They were trodden under foot, and their Carkasses left unburied. Compare 2 Kings 9. 37. Ier. 8. 2. and 16. 4.
