Matthew Poole and continuators on Revelation 17:14

14 These shall make war with the Lamb , and the Lamb shall overcome them , for he is Lord of Lords, and King of Kings, and they that are with him are called, and chose[illegible: 1 letter] and faithful .

These Ten Kings shall a while oppose themselves to the Gospel, taking part with Antichrist.

But Christ shall overcome them by the Power of his Gospel, or some of them that way; others that will not be converted shall be confounded, some way or other brought to ruine.

For he hath [illegible: 1 letter]ower above others, and knows how to fit Instrument[illegible: 1 letter] his purpose; so as those whom he shall make use [illegible: 1 word] this work, shall be Chosen Persons, and faithful in [illegible: 3 letters]charge of the Trust committed to them.
