Revelation18:8
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day , death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burnt with fire ; For strong is the Lord God who judgeth her .
As was threatned to old Babylon, Isa. 47.9. In one day, that is, in a short time.
All manner of Judgments, till she be fully consumed.
For she hath to do with a strong Lord: she thinks she hath secured her self from Man, by interesting Kings and Princes in her Quarrel; but it is the Lord that judgeth her, and she will find him strong enough to accomplish his Word upon her.
