Romans16:8
8. Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord .
Some Translations call him Ampliatus; it is a Roman Name.
This is added to shew that he did not love him for his riches: or any outward respect, but for the Lords sake; for the grace of Christ, which appeared in him.
