Romans3:6

6. God forbid : for then how shall God judge the world ?

He rejects the Cavil, with his usual Note of Detestation, as not thinking it worthy of Answer.

q. d. If God were in the least Unrighteous, How could He Govern the World at present, and Iudge it at last in Righteousness? which is affirmed, Psal. 96.13. and 98.9. Or, How could He be God and Supream, if He were not Just by his Nature and Essence, and his Will, the very Rule of Righteousness, vid. Gen. 18.25. Iob. 34.12.
