Matthew Poole and continuators on Romans 6:10

Romans6:10

10. For in that he died, he died unto sin once ; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God .

For as when he dyed to sin. i. e. To take away sin, he died but once. vid. Heb. 9.28. and 10.10, 14.

But when he rose again from the dead, he lived ▪ with God for ever an immortal endless life. By this phrase is exprest that eternal and indissoluble Union, which the Son hath with the Father.
