25. As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her, Beloved, which was not beloved .

Here the Apostle proves, That the Gentiles were children of the promise, or that the promise belonged to them, as well as to the Iews: And because the Iews could not endure to hear of this, he cites Two Testimonyes out of Hosea, to convince them: One is in this Verse, and it is taken out of Hosea 2.23. The other is in the following Verse.
