Psalms109:6

Let Satan stand at his right hand. It appears to have been the custom at trials before the Jewish tribunals for a pleader to stand at the right hand of the accused: See Zec 3:1, where are described Joshua the High Priest, standing before the Angel of Jehovah, and the adversary (Njs, Satan, as here) standing at his right hand to oppose him. See also Ps 109:31. —John Le Clerc, 1657-1736.
